Prepare an Alternate Space

If your clients love heights and a city view, hotel rooftops could be the fail-proof place to hold their unions. But if they want something a little bit more casual and possessing of a New York party vibe, bars and restaurants’ rooftops could be the way to go. Of course, all outdoor events will need backup plans just in case the weather turns out to be not in your favour, so make sure that the site offers an alternate space. An open-air area with a canopy could be one of the solutions when choosing the wedding venue. In such a way, guests can still enjoy the heart-stopping sight the spot has to offer, yet could also provide a protection from the wind or rain which may come along.

Signature Drink Mix

To create easygoing vibes for this wedding, a cocktail party theme is definitely fitting. And what could scream cocktail more than bars? Supply classic and old-fashioned drinks like scotch, bourbon, rum or champagne as well as the more chilled out options such as sangrias or martinis. Also, how about creating and serving a special drink which blends the couple’s drinks of choice? This could then become their signature drinks that they will be able to share with friends and family. Do not underestimate the power of choosing the perfect bar styling and furniture. These things could have a greater effect than you realise. Use neon signs to decorate the wall and deliver an urban look. Opt for a timber table like down below paired with black stools to get that laid-back ambiance:

Savoury Table

For some couples who are not a big fan of sweets on a dessert bar, you might want to consider serving a savoury table instead. Arrange the plates as you would with sweets, which is by creating layers on the table by using different heights of serving wares. Grazing Table

When trying to achieve a relaxed sense on your reception table, place a bouquet in the center and lay out some food on serving wares on the sides.
